Omobayo Azeez is passionate about communication as a catalyst for change in the society. As a communications enthusiast, he graduated from Crescent University before which he bagged both National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic

After serving in various capacities on the editorial teams of different leading media organisations in the country, he founded Business Metrics Limited in 2020 and now serves as the Team Lead of the publishing and strategic communications firm.

In the last two years, Azeez has been at the forefront of policy advocacy and implementation in the country’s telecoms and ICT sector by convening Policy Implementation Assisted Forum (PIAFo) which is now in its fifth edition as a national midpoint dialogue platform for policy advocacy, promotion and assessment

In 2022, Azeez emerged the first journalist to bag Tech Innovation Awards (TIA) as ICT Editor of the Year. Similarly, he clinched the Award of Excellence in ICT Reporting at the maiden National Media Community Awards (NMCA) 2022
